Fab Wives was established in 2015 to connect modern day wives who realize that – while this life of a wife is not all glitz and glam, it’s so rewarding!
What began as local outings for Charlotte, NC based couples and wives transformed into a national community of wives who connect with each other through social media, fabwives.com and local meet-ups and events.
The focus for Fab Wives is to build a community of wives committed to love and marriage and to provide resources that allow the modern day wife to confidently balance family, career and personal interests.
Transparency, unfiltered dialogue, love and support are the foundations in which Fab Wives is based on.
Meet the Wives Behind Fab Wives
Mrs. Rhea Plummer, Executive Director
Mommy of two; Married Travis on May 17, 2009
Being married to my best friend has helped shaped the woman I have become. Every day is not a good day, but we make a conscious effort to continue to grow with each other. My relationship with other wives has been so inspirational and most importantly provides me with a fresh vantage point on both my personal strong points and shortcomings in marriage. Sharing my thoughts, strengths and weaknesses in a judgment free zone keeps me renewed and focused on love and marriage.
Mrs. DeLauren Everett, Events Director
Mommy of one; Married Brandon on August 31, 2011
We’ve experienced so many great things over the years; one being the blessing of our son, but life as a wife/mommy isn’t always easy. Patience, honesty, communication and being straight forward are all things we’ve committed to each other. We don’t always see eye to eye, but with respect and the love of God as our foundation, when the going gets tough, we always know how to reel it back in. What I love about my boys is they are my cheer squad! They always have my back; they pick me up when I’m down, praise my accomplishments and support my desire to serve other wives and mommies in our community. We are in this together Fab Wives; we were destined for this!
Mommy of one; Married Derrick on June 6, 2015
Marriage isn’t something you just put on a shelf and pick it up when you feel like it, marriage is hard work and you work at it everyday. I can’t remember where I heard that from, but I never forgot it. As a newlywed, I am learning that marriage is what you make it. It may not look like your friends or what you see on TV, however, you have the power to make it what your heart desires. Marriage is hard but its also rewarding.

Married to Michael, Mommy of two princes and bonus mom to two princesses
Marriage is just two people choosing to love each despite their imperfections. As a newlywed, I strive to become a great model of marriage for my kids, friends and family. Marriage has taught me the power of patience, compromise and thinking before reacting. I am excited about joining such a great community of wives supporting wives. The insight I have gained through these connections have helped me understand this journey better. It’s teaching me how to value every bump in the road and learn from every step. Connecting with other wives has equipt me with insight and resources that I need to become a better wife. Marriage is not always easy but it’s worth it!
